The school offices are open between 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursdays, and 8am to 1pm on Fridays. You can leave a message outside of these hours.

Students are expected in school between 9am and 3pm, & 9am to 11.00 on Fridays.  This equates to 26 school hours per week. Please contact the appropriate school before 9.30am if your child will be absent for any reason, you have a legal obligation to do so.

If your child has challenges with attendance, then please contact Rae Neale our attendance Officer who can offer help and support to both you and your child.

Understanding the changes to fines

Please ensure your child wears the appropriate uniform, please speak to us if this causes you a challenge as we may be able to help.

School Uniform:

  • Quay School uniform: logoed polo shirt and sweatshirt
  • Plain black trousers or joggers or skirt (suitable length)
  • Flat black shoes or plain black trainers
  • School top/s & suitable bottoms when attending offsite activities
  • School PE shirt & suitable bottoms when doing sport
  • No jewellery except simple stud earrings
  • Students who arrive in unsuitable clothing can expect parents/carers to asked to bring in the correct clothing.
  • Logoed uniform can be purchased from the school office
  • Polo shirts are £8
  • Sweatshirts are £15

Food is £1.50 per day. This includes breakfast, lunch, fruit, drinks & snacks through the day.

Home to School Transport

Transport at BCP Council have made an app which should make the whole application process far easier for parents and carers.

It will allow you to track the progress of your application as it is assessed by BCP Council colleagues, and you will receive email notifications at key stages of your assessment process.
